Dr. Eric H. Jones, Jr.
Senior Pastor
As founder and senior pastor of Koinonia Worship Center & Village, his positive influence and leadership have evolved beyond the walls of the church. Koinonia operates seven days a week and has more than twenty-four ministries which include: Prison, Substance Abuse, Men, Women, and Youth ministries. Rev. Jones is known locally and worldwide.

1. What does "Koinonia" mean?
Koinonia is a Greek word meaning “fellowship” or “community.” It reflects our mission to build strong, supportive, and Christ-centered relationships.
2. What kind of church is Koinonia?
We are a non-denominational Christian church, meaning we are not affiliated with any specific denomination. We welcome people from all backgrounds and walks of life.
3. What are your service times?
Our main service is Every Sunday at 10 am.
We also offer midweek Bible Study, every Thursday at 7:30 pm.
4. What does Koinonia believe?
We believe in the Bible as the inspired Word of God and in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the foundation of our faith. Our teachings focus on love, grace, and living a life that reflects Christ’s teachings.
5. Do you observe Baptism and Communion?
Yes, we observe Baptism and Communion on First Sundays, inviting all believers to participate.
6. Do I need to dress a certain way to attend?
No, come as you are! Whether you prefer casual attire or your Sunday best, you are welcome here.
7. What can I expect during a service?
A typical service includes worship through music, prayer, a Bible-based, and opportunities to fellowship with others. Our services last about an hour and a half.
8. Is there something for my children?
Yes, we our Kingdom Building Youth Ministry includes Sunday School and youth group activities, to help young ones learn about God in a fun and engaging way.
9. Can I attend if I’m not a Christian or new to faith?
Absolutely! We welcome everyone, whether you are a non-believer exploring the faith, new to Christianity, or seeking a church home.
10. How do I become a member of Koinonia?
Membership is open to anyone who wishes to join our church family. We offer membership classes to help you learn more about our mission, beliefs, and how you can get involved.
