Youth

Vision:

To develop a relationship with the youth and parents that demonstrates the family relationship as dictated by Jesus. To build a foundation on which each youth, parents and youth leader can grow in their knowledge of Christ, teaching them about his love and purpose for their lives. Disciplining our youth to bring others to Christ. To unite in ministry, operating as one, and assist each other as needed.

Mission:
To cultivate an environment of growth, knowledge, and purpose in getting to know and develop a relationship with Christ Jesus.

Goal:
● To provide a safe, caring environment for our youth
● To recruit loving, God-fearing, facilitators to serve in the ministry
● To spread the word of God through community events and church services
● To prepare our youth, by teaching the word of God, so that they may evangelize their peers and other youth in our community
● To provide alternative activities that teaches Christ centered characteristics
● To prepare our youth for adulthood
● To increase the number of youth that participates in the Youth Ministry

Youth services and lessons for youth ages Pre-K to High School:
● Service consists of an opening session with all youth for prayer, praise & worship, Words of Wisdom (by Youth Director/Pastors/Elders, Deacons) announcements
● The group then separates for age-appropriate classes, taught by Youth Ministry Director and facilitators
● Refreshments served after classes

Youth Fridays – 2nd & 4th Fridays 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Open to all youth and parents at KWC and surrounding communities
Youth activities to include:

● Special programs
● Games
● Parent workshop
● Seminars
● Prayer shut-ins
● Outings
